Review these Canada-specific requirements before initiating CAD payouts. For the general cross-border payment flow, see [Sending Cross-Border Payments](https://docs.cybrid.xyz/docs/sending-cross-border-payments). ## Supported configurations Canada payouts support the following participant type: * **B2B** (business-to-business) — business customer to business counterparty B2B uses the `bank_account` route via the `EFT` payment rail. C2C, B2C, and mobile wallet payouts are not available for this corridor. ## Trading account requirement Canada payouts require a **`USDC_SOL`** trading account as the source. Other trading account types (such as `USDC` or `USDC_NPL`) are not supported for CAD payouts. ## Verify CAD payout availability Confirm your bank supports CAD payouts for the B2B participant type and the `bank_account` route. > ℹ️ Bank configuration required > > Contact Cybrid support to enable CAD payouts and configure Canada as a supported corridor for your bank. ```http Request GET /api/banks/{bank_guid} Authorization: Bearer YOUR_TOKEN ``` Look for an entry in `supported_payout_symbols` where: * `symbol`: `CAD-USD` or `CAD-USDC_SOL` * `country_code`: `CA` * `participants_type`: `B2B` * `route`: `bank_account` You can also query prices for Canada: ```http Request GET /api/prices?payout_country_code=CA Authorization: Bearer YOUR_TOKEN ``` ## Identity verification requirements The platform validates all required KYC fields when you create a plan for CAD payouts. ### Originator (Customer) **Business originator (B2B):** * `name.full` (registered name) * `address.street`, `address.city`, `address.country_code` * `identification_numbers` with one of: * `tax_identification_number` * `business_registration_number` * `employer_identification_number` ### Receiver (Counterparty) Create the counterparty with the [standard required fields](https://docs.cybrid.xyz/docs/creating-a-counterparty#counterparty-types) for the appropriate type. The counterparty must be in `verified` state before you can create the external bank account and plan. **Business counterparty (B2B):** * `name.full` Individual customers and individual counterparties are not supported for this corridor. A plan with an individual on either side is rejected. ## Purpose of transaction For Canada payouts, `purpose_of_transaction` is **required**. All standard purpose values are accepted. ## Supporting documents B2B payouts to Canada require at least one supporting document. No specific document type is mandated, so you can use any supported type: `invoice`, `purchase_order`, `delivery_slip`, `contract`, `bill_of_lading`, or `others`. Each B2B plan must include exactly one supporting document that carries a `document_reference_number`. ```json Request (excerpt) { "supporting_documents": [ { "type": "invoice", "file_guids": ["file_guid"], "document_reference_number": "INV-1001" } ] } ``` **Requirements:** * At least one supporting document is required. * Up to 3 documents per plan. * Each file must be uploaded with a `type` matching the document `type`. * Allowed file formats: `application/pdf`, `image/jpeg`, `image/png`. * Each file must be no larger than 8 MB, with a filename of 64 characters or fewer. * Exactly one supporting document must carry a `document_reference_number`. Upload each file via [File Upload](https://docs.cybrid.xyz/docs/file-upload) and wait for `state: completed` before referencing its GUID. The credit party is identified by a CPA routing number and a bank account number. Submit it as a single value in `bank_code` — for example, institution `004` and transit `17902` become `00417902` * **Bank account number**: Must be 7 to 12 digits. The permitted length varies by institution * **Bank code type**: Must be `CPA` * **Payment rail**: Must be `EFT` ## Supported institutions The following institutions are available for CAD payouts to Canada. The institution number is the first 3 digits of the CPA routing number, so you can use this table to confirm a beneficiary's bank is supported before creating the external bank account. > ℹ️ Credit unions clearing through Central 1 > > Central 1 Credit Union clears payments for several Canadian credit unions, including Coast Capital Savings and Vancity Community Investment Bank.
