Accounts and Conversions

How do I view balances and convert between currencies?

Overview

The Accounts page lists every account in your workspace and is where you move money between fiat currencies and stablecoins — a Conversion, also called a Buy or Sell. Reach it from Sidebar → Accounts.

Available actions

  • View your accounts grouped into two sections:
    • Balances — your Cash accounts (USD, CAD, etc.)
    • Crypto Wallets — your Wallet accounts (USDC, USDT, etc.)
  • Inspect an account by clicking its row.
  • Convert between currencies using the inline conversion panel without leaving the page.

Account fields

Each account row shows:

NameA friendly name (often the currency, for example "USD Account")
TypeCash for fiat currency, Wallet for stablecoins
BalanceThe current amount in the account
StatusAlmost always Active. New accounts may briefly show Pending or Storing while they're being set up

Conversions (Buy and Sell)

Click any Crypto Wallet to open the conversion panel.

  • Buy — use cash to acquire a stablecoin.
  • Sell — exchange a stablecoin for cash.

Prerequisites

  • At least one Cash account
  • At least one Wallet account
  • A balance in the account you're converting from

Conversion form fields

  • Direction — Buy or Sell
  • From Account — the source of the money
  • To Account — the destination of the money
  • Amount to Convert — the amount in the source currency

The panel shows a live You will receive estimate, the Conversion Fee, and a "Rate refreshes in X s" countdown that re-quotes when it expires.

Notes

  • Rates fluctuate. The estimate updates continuously; the rate locks in when you click Convert Now. The final amount may differ slightly from the estimate.
  • Conversions require a matching Cash account. If you only have a stablecoin Wallet (for example, USDC) and no Cash account in a paired currency, the panel shows "No fiat accounts available".
  • Conversions appear in Transactions under the Conversions tab, not under Payments.

General notes

  • Balances refresh on page load. If a balance looks wrong after a recent transaction, refresh.
  • You can't add a new account from this page. Workspaces are configured by your administrator. To request a new account or currency, contact them.
  • Pending or Storing status is expected for new accounts. Refresh after a moment and the account should turn Active.
