User Agreement & Privacy Policy Update
What do I need to do about the updated Cybrid User Agreement and Privacy Policy?
Cybrid Technology Inc. is updating its User Agreement — the terms of service that govern the
technology and services Cybrid provides to partners and, through partners, to their end users.
Separately, U.S. federal privacy law requires Cybrid to provide a privacy notice to consumer
customers. Partners must notify their customers of both changes and update their app and sign-up
flow accordingly.
Two things are required, on two different clocksSend the customer notice (see below) and update your app to reference the terms — then confirm
both are complete and send evidence to Cybrid. All items are due no later than September 1,
2026.
Send a notice to your customers
Send the notice below to your customers by email no later than September 1, 2026. If you
already have another customer email planned before that date, you may include this notice there
instead of sending a separate message.
Required languageIn 30 days, a new user agreement will take effect between you and our technology partner,
Cybrid Technology Inc. You can review the new agreement here: Cybrid User
Agreement. Unless you notify us otherwise, you'll be
bound by these updated terms — and by continuing to use our services, you confirm your
acceptance of them. You can review the Privacy Policy and Privacy Notice here: Cybrid Privacy
Policy. If you have any questions, please contact us.
You may adjust wording and tone to match the rest of your email — including translating it, or
matching your own brand voice — as long as the following survive in substance:
These four elements must remain, however you phrase them
- A working link to the terms: https://cybrid.xyz/legal/user-agreement
- The 30-day effective date, calculated from the date this email is sent to your customers
- A statement that the customer will be bound by the updated terms unless they notify you that
they want to stop using the services, and that continuing to use the services also confirms
their acceptance- A working link to the Privacy Policy: https://cybrid.xyz/legal/privacy-policy-usa
Update your app to reference the terms
Once complete, your end users should be able to find and access the Cybrid User Agreement, and
your own Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy, from within your app.
Gold standard: a sign-up checkbox
Add a checkbox like this to your sign-up flow
- I agree to the [Your Terms and Conditions] and acknowledge the [Your Privacy Policy]
- Link "Terms and Conditions" to your own terms —
https://cybrid.xyz/legal/user-agreement should be
included in those terms. - Link "Privacy Policy" to your own privacy policy —
https://cybrid.xyz/legal/privacy-policy-usa should
be included in that policy.
Minimum requirement
At minimum, the Cybrid User Agreement must be linked or otherwise accessible somewhere in your
app — for example in your Terms and Conditions, in account settings, or on a terms page reachable
after sign-up. The Cybrid Privacy Policy must be linked or otherwise accessible somewhere in your
app as well.
Both sections are required — completing one does not satisfy the otherThe customer notice and the app update are independent requirements. You need to complete both.
Send Cybrid confirmation and evidence
Once your customer email has gone out, send the following to [email protected]:
| # | What to send | Deadline |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Confirmation that the email was sent, including the date sent, plus a copy of the final email as received by customers | September 1, 2026 |
| 2 | The total number of customers the email was sent to | September 1, 2026 |
| 3 | A screenshot or short recording showing where and how the terms and privacy policy appear in your app | Within 5 business days of your app update shipping |
